Description:

ERW(Electric Resistance Welding) is one welded type for the straight welded seam pipes, also called black steel pipes, MS steel pipes. Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) pipe is manufactured by cold forming a flat steel strip into a rounded tube and passing it through a series of forming rollers to obtain a longitudinal seam. The two edges are then simultaneously heated with a high frequency current and squeezed together to form a bond. The longitudinal ERW seam does not require filler metal.

There are two types, hot rolled and cold rolled for the ERW black steel pipes, most condition we refer to hot rolled carbon steel pipes, mainly sizes from 1/2” to 26”, with thickness 0.5mm to 22.2mm.

We have modern advanced production line with the NDT test like UT, RT, Hydrostatic test etc. to ensure our quality can meet various standard like ASTM A53, API 5L PSL1/PSL2, API 5CT, ASTM A795, ASTM A135, ASTM A252, EN10219, EN10217 etc.

5, Packing: 6” and below usually in bundles by strong steel strips, 8” and above usually by loosed PCS.

6, Coating: painted by black or other color, oiling, power coating, zinc coating, anti-corrosion 3PE/3PP/FBE etc.

7, Pipe Ends: Plain ends, Beveled ends, Threaded/coupling ends, Grooved ends, Flanged ends, Expanded ends etc.

8, Inspection: SGS/BV

9, Mill Certificate: 3.1/3.2 as EN10204

10, Delivery time: 15 to 30 days after down payment confirmation

11, Payment term: TT, LC at sight
